Isa 32

Behold, a king will reign in righteousness,

and princes will rule in justice.

2 Each will be like a hiding place from the wind,
a shelter from the storm,
like streams of water in a dry place,
like the shade of a great rock in a weary land.

3 Then the eyes of those who see will not be closed, and the ears of those who hear will give attention.

4 The heart of the hasty will understand and know, and the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak distinctly.

5 The fool will no more be called noble,
nor the scoundrel said to be honorable.

6  For the fool speaks folly,
and his heart is busy with iniquity,
to practice ungodliness,
to utter error concerning the LORD,
to leave the craving of the hungry unsatisfied,
and to deprive the thirsty of drink.

7  As for the scoundrel—his devices are evil; he plans wicked schemes
to ruin the poor with lying words,
even when the plea of the needy is right.

8 But he who is noble plans noble things,
and on noble things he stands.

9 Rise up, you women who are at ease, hear my voice;
you complacent daughters, give ear to my speech.

10  In little more than a year
you will shudder, you complacent women;
for the grape harvest fails,
the fruit harvest will not come.

11 Tremble, you women who are at ease,
shudder, you complacent ones;
strip, and make yourselves bare,
and tie sackcloth around your waist.

12 Beat your breasts for the pleasant fields, for the fruitful vine,

13 for the soil of my people
growing up in thorns and briers,
yes, for all the joyous houses
in the exultant city.

14 For the palace is forsaken,
the populous city deserted;
the hill and the watchtower
will become dens forever,
a joy of wild donkeys,
a pasture of flocks;

15 until the Spirit is poured upon us from on high, and the wilderness becomes a fruitful field, and the fruitful field is deemed a forest.

16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness,
and righteousness abide in the fruitful field.

17 And the effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.

18 My people will abide in a peaceful habitation,
in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.

19 And it will hail when the forest falls down, and the city will be utterly laid low.

20 Happy are you who sow beside all waters, who let the feet of the ox and the donkey range free.

Prov 4

 My son, be attentive to my words;

incline your ear to my sayings.

21  Let them not escape

 from your sight;

keep them within your heart.

22 For they are life to those who find

themand healing to all their flesh.

23  Keep your heart with all vigilance,

for from it flow the springs of

 Life.

REALity News

Today I listened and watched as Psalm 91 was sowed in 'real time' Word delivery to a whole sea of people from a ministry location in the Carolinas.

Only a few days before, I was driving home on the open Iowa landscape highways and I engaged in what I've made a practice of ... taking the time to look up.   I'm blessed to live in a place where it only takes a moment to look up and witness a scene that instantly points to the reality there's Someone much, much bigger authoring all of what we've convinced ourselves is going on.

The most beautiful powder blue cloudscape that I've ever seen met me on my drive home on this particular day, leading into the weekend. And, I made sure that out of my lips I told The LORD that it was beautiful, which led to a personal breakthrough.  Filth is everywhere on this planet, of different dimensions.  The thought crossed into my understanding under that beautiful powder blue sky that God is seeing and has seen it all.  Yet His Thought of this cloudscape (the reason that it existed overhead in that moment) went forth into this time space.

Listening to one of my newly discovered fav voices, Jenna Ellis over the recent week, I delved to discover one of the rare messages she shared about the depth of her testimony.  In this message she shared a few years ago, Jenna spoke about how she survived a sexual assault trauma in her youth and that in processing, she wanted to know of The LORD if she was still pure.   The power of testimony is so powerful, mostly in that God honors it.  He multiplies it .

Under the cloudscape driving home, this part of Jenna's testimony met me as a rhetorical q & a for Jesus .

 Is God looking at all of this filth down here and still pure, innocent ..?  while not yet burning it all to the ground in His Holiness?

The beautiful cloudscape overhead was the answer I decided upon, 'Yes'.

It is a breakthrough because I was able to also instantly believe that I too could survive all of what I see around me -- that is, be in the world and not of it.  This is significant breakthrough I want to share here, and this is a post of exhortation.   A lot of what we as mere human beings see, believer or non-believer, is traumatic.  Multi-dimensions of darkness are pouring in around us, and in its own dynamic is supernatural (Isa 60) .  Yet, we are called to go out right into the midst of it in order to shine the light.

While understanding the idea of this as laid out in Scripture, and understanding it progressively as I encounter The LORD, it's the moment under that powder blue cloudscape that allowed me to understand how to actually do it no matter what -- what to actually believe about doing it.  In encountering the trauma rebound culture which has become a part of the normal rhythm since 2020, there's the understanding that the enemy will not decide, 'enough'.  Jesus has been patiently waiting for His people to say this, but in the meantime I couldn't imagine how to brace myself for anything more traumatic than what I've already seen .   Then,

the 'real time' of this cloudscape moment ..  a song being sung

that continued on into the weekend, as I listened to the message being pored out from Heaven in the Carolinas.    When there's a specific sound that keeps saving your life, you learn it deeply.  You also, by grace, recognize its opposites.  The sound popularly going forth, without even exerting much effort these days,  is one like a long horror movie which seems to yet not get to its end.  Just the extent of it makes each break from the score shine as like finding a rare gemstone.

The days I describe leading into this weekend weren't a break from the score, but a whole new song. I don't poetically claim this, but affirmatively proclaim it.   The song being sung - God's Word multiplying, multifaceted and depthed.  I listened into this weekend as a teacher shared on what sounded of God bringing Psalm 91 alive overhead in his life, through the truths of Hezekiah's response to warfare in 2 Kings.  He did not directly speak once of Psalm 91, but God multifacetedly delivered it to him.  The message was so multifaceted that it is seed which shall go out and seed countless others.  This is what I prayed, after waiting to see if what I was encountering was simply a break in the score or something more.

Indeed, I encounter a whole new song .

The message going out from the Carolinas relayed

going up into God's presence as our response.

This, alongside the cloudscape scene - a Holy dimension apart from the dross breaks through and I balance Jesus analog 'proof'.  Jesus is showing these same proofs in His Word going out in the Carolinas, hundreds of miles away .

 As the teacher was closing this weekend he included    '... if I would just be thankful ...'

In this I saw ,

Enter his gates [go up] with thanksgiving,

and His courts with praise!

Give thanks to him; bless his name!  Psa 100:4

I testify that God has begun something new , and it is wonderous.  I have witnessed the signature, the foundationing and will look on resolutely for its multiplication!

Gideon's 300 are finding their way to the brook.  And, the sound is beautifully sky blue.

In the Name of Jesus Amen !!

Psa 91

 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.

  I will say to the LORD, “My refuge and my fortress,

my God, in whom I trust.”

  For he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler

and from the deadly pestilence.

  He will cover you with his pinions,

and under his wings you will find refuge;

his faithfulness is a shield and buckler.

  You will not fear the terror of the night,

nor the arrow that flies by day,

  nor the pestilence that stalks in darkness,

nor the destruction that wastes at noonday.

  A thousand may fall at your side,

ten thousand at your right hand,

but it will not come near you.

  You will only look with your eyes

and see the recompense of the wicked.

  Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place—

the Most High, who is my refuge—

  no evil shall be allowed to befall you,

no plague come near your tent.

  For he will command his angels concerning you

to guard you in all your ways.

  On their hands they will bear you up,

lest you strike your foot against a stone.

  You will tread on the lion and the adder;

the young lion and the serpent you will trample underfoot.

    “Because he holds fast to me in love, I will deliver him;

I will protect him, because he knows my name.

  When he calls to me, I will answer him;

I will be with him in trouble;

I will rescue him and honor him.

  With long life I will satisfy him

and show him my salvation.”
